With two thirds of the vote, it's clear that those who care have chosen you to run for another two years as mayor of Leland.
Now is the time to get with Bill and Jack and all those other mayors and DPW managers and get things done.
We, the land owners and citizens of North Brunswick are counting on you.
Good Luck!
See you at the coffee shop

If you ask the candidates down at the polls what they think of consolidation, it might help you deceide which one to vote for.
One told me he'd been working on a project for 12 years and didn't want to merge the three towns (Leland, Bellville and Navassa). Maybe he just needs another 12 years.
Another said, he likes the town he's in and doesn't want to share his stuff...or something like that!
It seems to me that together (we) could do more for less and do it quicker...say, like they do in the c…

I was just over at the polling places in Leland and cast my votes.
Bob Boynton (myself) is the first name at the top of the ballot...easy to find, easy to choose.
There are some good choices for Councilmen as well....
So if you haven't done so yet...I'd recommend taking a drive over to City Hall or Bellville Elementary and cast your vote for the new Mayor...
While your there you can take a look at the sign on the fence across the road that my Grand Daughter made for me..

I was very disappointed to see campaign workers parked directly in front of the Leland Town Hall early this morning, forcing the voters to park in the overflow parking lot and along Town Hall Drive. I have no problem with workers and candidates politicking at the polling places, but why should the campaign workers and candidates be allowed to monopolize the majority of the parking spaces in the small parking lot? C'mon candidates, show a little common courtesy for the folks you claim t…

Dear Belville Residents,
I'm Buddie Ennis and I want to continue to serve on your behalf as a Belville Commissioner. I have faithfully served the residents of this town for over 14 years as a member of the town's public boards and as the "point man" for promoting the town and bringing in the kind of development that complements Belville.
I know this area like the back of my hand. Four generations of my family have and continue to run the local foundry, which is the oldest continuous business i…

That's what city council said over in Wilmington...I agree, and have been advocating doing the same, on a weekly basis, for Leland.
Funny, I haven't heard any statements to that effect from our current mayor in Leland. Oh! but he did say last night at the VFW that "my best qualification for being mayor of Leland is that I am mayor of Leland"
DUH!
After 2 terms do you really want the same ol', same ol'?
Vote for Bob and get get a better arm twister. The DOT needs to do their job or if not we n…

Why not, we need action!
It's not enough to get the grass cut only once a year...and it would be nice to have the job done right with the weeds cut down in the median before the snow flies..
We also need the roads completed between Mallory Creek, Westport and Brunswick Forest. The builders need a break!
Let's also encourage the building of the Skyway asap...the northern route through vacant land is my choice.
We also need grandfather clauses in our village ordinances to faze out the old trailer…

Now that our great commander-in-chief has spoken to the Queer community and said its ok to have "poofs" in the military maybe he will send them all off to fight our wars against Islam.
Oh! I forgot, he says Islam is ok too.. In fact what has he said is not ok?
It's ok to spend too much money...It's ok to have big government fine us if we don't buy into a mandated health scam.
It's ok to hire former Black Panthers under the guise of "green programs". It's ok to have pedofiles in charge of our kid…

Yeah I know, the peace award is suppose to go to someone who is (excuse me has) been commited and done something for peace.
Obama should be commited allright. Don't take my word for it check out www.wakeupamerica.com and see what has been started down in South Carolina by concerned citizens..
Time to get on the band wagon and get rid of this guy..It's great that we have the vote but we need to be more carefull about who we vote for, especially on a national level.

Partisan bickering will be the end of us all. I know it is a grand tradition in our nation but it seldom results in good government, especially on the local level. We need to search out the common ground in the issues and build on it when we are trying to solve problems or prevent them from occurring. If the primary goal of our seeking office is simply to gratify our own egos the good of the community is submerged by our constant and unceasing need to make ourselves look indispensable.

http://www.camera.org/index.asp?x_context=7&x_issue=18&x_article=1728 There is an article worth reading at:www.camera.org which refutes the United Nations resolution published in this mornings Star News.
When articles such as thes are printed before getting all the facts it can be quite damaging to the inocent parties.
We all know by now that the UN (origionally the League of Nations) was created to bring peace amoung the Nations of the world.
With most of the Nations being Islamic with…

A great site for understanding how the difference effects us all...go to: www.smallgovtimes.com
I prefer small government. Let the people keep their freedom. Lets not tax every little thing they do...and if the budget comes up short because those in government make a mistake, expenditures should be reduced not taxes increased.
Convention centers and hotels have no business being owned and run by government. That should be left up to the private sector or only gone ahead with when the money is av…

It seems these days that all the "talking heads" have a view!
The question is, whos view do they have...They may have the "view" of a (In)Famous liberal like Ted Kennedy, or maybe a "please everyone" view like Obama.
Perhaps they have a personnal view that includes some philosophy picked up along the way.
Everyone is agreeing to disagree with each other and if they cannot and are "radical" they start killing each other...First with words like some of the (over-the-top) talk show hosts and the…

Cal Thomas, the author of a great article on the "Opinion" page in this mornings newspaper put it well when he said; "yes you can!"...
The people should have the power to maintain their liberties and pursuit of happiness in this country and in this city(I, of course am talking about Leland as well as Wilmington and all local governments in America).
As a candidate for Mayor, I have noticed a few statements by the current administration...although doing a great job for several terms, I heard th…

A Personal Message from Michelle Malkin
Dear Reader,
I'm so proud to announce that my new book, Culture of Corruption, is #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for the second consecutive week!
If you haven't read it yet, let me give you just a little taste:
Phew. Janitors in newsrooms across America worked overtime in the halcyon days after Barack Obama won the presidency. It wasn't easy cleaning the drool off laptops and floors in the offices of journalists everywhere. New York Times columni…

Last night at the Town Hall in Leland the new "bike patrol" was introduced to the attending citizens....a closer relationship with the "activities" in our neighborhoods is anticipated.
It will be nice for the residents of Leland to get to know "Leland's finest" on a first name basis.
We also have a new ordinance regulating the "pitching" of a tent for the purpose of selling merchandise on public and private property.
You may want to look into this and see if you agree with the new controls and f…
