Rain, Rain, Rain...

When it rains it pours! Not so bad for the Surfboard paddle races this morning at Wrightsvill Beach. The rain mostly held off and we had a great uneventful race. I'm sure y'all will read about it in tomorrows paper.
I think we need some kayak or surf paddling races over in Leland..What do you think?
We could race from the Wildlife public boat ramp down to the new ramp at the "Alligator Hole" off River Road on the Town Creek. Something to think about.

All you who went to the Italy fair at Romineli's today under the tents I'm sure had a good time in spite of all the rain...Tomorrows another day! Hope to see you there.

The pond behind my house in Brunswick Forest is filling up to were it looks real good. Great for a short kayak ride (even standing up) to practice for the next Surf paddeling competition.
